 SUNDEK was the first product line that Decorative Concrete began offering in 1983. SUNDEK is a product that has been around for 38 years, with literally millions of square feet installed internationally. Over a thousand pools have been installed in the St. louis area alone. SUNDEK is an acrylic cement coating designed to cover new or existing concrete, and once installed has many advantages over the competition in that it is: 1) slip resistant and approximately 5-20% cooler to walk on than regular concrete; 2) a non-porous product that not only seals the existing concrete, but is also resistant to staining; 3) it can be designed to look like almost anything (i.e.: Brick, Flagstone, Tile, custom monogramming, etc.); 4) maintenance is minimal in that resealing is recommended about every 5-8 years.
